The Desert Hawks RC Club Inc. is a non-profit club operated in conjunction with the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department. We are an AMA Chartered club, Club #1545. We have been in our current location and in operation for over 35 years.

Our club meets every day (weather permitting) at our complex in the Special Activities Recreation Area (S.A.R.A.) Park. Our Complex includes a 750'x60' asphalt like runway, a dirt oval racetrack, a dirt short course racetrack and a helicopter/drone field. Additionally, we have restrooms with coded locks, a shaded pit area and the Cliffhanger meeting area.

Visitors are welcome whenever the gates are open. To operate a model at our complex as a guest you must be a current member of AMA and be accompanied by an active club member.  Junior/Youth members must be accompanied by a regular active club member whenever operating a model on our Complex. No Exceptions.

Club General Membership Meetings are held at 9am on the 2nd Saturday of each month October through May. There are no meetings June through September.  

Club members have access to the combination lock on the front gate and restrooms. When any club member is on the complex the gates will be unlocked and open, and when the last club member leaves the gates will be locked. Our operating hours are dawn to sundown. We do not have electricity on the property.
